beneath the make-up and office wear

its been about one week since ive returned back to raffles place, back to the pants and skirts and blouses. but ive ditched my high heels for the time being cos i need to walk quite a lot at work! started working at BNP Paribas, and if you don't know its a rich french bank. not one that does like personal banking, but we do like backroom banking and corporate banking and lots of wholesale banking.

quite cool. like today i scan some documents to hk, documents rgd club21 invoices and stuff, den i remembered tt handoko was once working there. i was like "hey maybe he prepared those invoices!" haha!

and the most important thing is, im pretty happy at work! ok it may be a bit hectic sometimes cos im like taking work from like 7 people? and it can be dam sian sometimes cos im jsut doing ALOT of scanning everyday. but at least i have work to do. and im learning alot, alot of terms and acronyms with regards to the trade finance service sector. :) like now i know what LC, DOCT, TRAP, TR, SETT, EXAP represents! and im really satisfied there, cos in my free time i will do sudoku puzzles and read the papers and read storybooks.

and from the things i see n hear around me, i learn, alot about office politics. and its really interesting, how people go all out to save their own asses. really.

the ice around my colleagus is gradually melting. they are more older, and all chinese. and the ladies are abit auntish and the guys are uncles. but they are really nice people, except a few who are abit anal and irritating but they are nice in their own way. one of my colleague has a son in vj la! ive kind of "tricked" my colleague to eating lunch with me once. and once more today i asked and 2 came with me! no more lunching alone! and like we chit chat! like today we were like sitting in a circle chit chatting, all becos i was waiting to leave a bit later for driving. and i got OT pay for that. wahahaha. and it was damm funny cos they wanted me to bake brownies and bring for them!

yup so thats work for me. another workng day tmr!
