im gonna keep the comments of my new job to myself for the time being, as in maybe try for one more week before giving my comments? but yea, im an intern at standard chartered. but well caroline, its a bank and you are working at raffles place. exactly what you wanted la, so dreams do come true eh.
but the coming of the new yr season also means tht my job as a beer promoter [ok dun drop jaws it isnt the auntie kind who wears short skirts at coffee shops! we work in jeans n polo T!] has ended. its been a good 1 month plus, with the many occasions at shengshiong at bedok res and once at the cold [in the sense of the temperature being very low] and cold [in the sense that there were not much ppl] and cold [in the sense that the few ppl werent very friendly] cold storage at parkway. but at least at pp i met 2 teahers and the CS CEO! hes so young la. but at ss it was a gd experience, i learnt a bit more skills abt how 2 deal with people, like some difficult customers. and ive also learnt to see who are those whom i can convince. and ive learnt how to start a conversation in chinese/dialect/english with the different groups of ppl and convince them to buy, instead of hard selling. and tto my greatest surprise i made a few frens, and on the last night of work they were really nice to buy a bottle of wine to celebrate. haha. at the 6th storey. so, thats one part of this yr that has gone well:)

and then its the CNY eve, went back to temasek with cheryl. and we watched 27 dresses after that. tms was fun, good to see the teachers once again but it was awfully quiet. maybe everyones that busy? or maybe people dun wan to go back anymroe. but at least im glad i went. i had a good time chit chatting with the teachers there.
27 dresses was realy nice. quite a bimbotic and funny show. with all the nice romancy bits in between, perfect movie to catch for the lovebirds out there. but there are also parts of the story tt focused on sisterly love and friendship which proved tt it was not a total airhead n brainless romance movie. and it kind of paints a nice picture of what love can be. if you believe in it la. :)
CNY was the same usual old. first day was stayng at home cooking batches n batches of food for all the relatives - my aunts cousins nieces and nephews. super tiring n busy. and today was visiting all the people we had to visit, like squuezing 2 days of visiting into one. so tired i felt asleep at 2 hses! ok hopefully the weekends gonna be as fun, more visintg n hopfully i get to touch mahjong tiles. heehee. take care ppl!
