i have been watching quite a few movies the past few weeks. lets see.

CJ7 totally a great film. if u allow ur imagination to run and follow the directors line of thoughts. fantastic family film, lots of laughter and tears... and i think it has simple underlying meanings about family and friends and the human life.

the leap years was not too bad too. ok i have heard so many negative remarks about it from other people. like how silly a show or how boring the storyline is. but to me it was good, kind of reinstills in u the belief that love and nice little things CAN happen. and there were touching bits tt made me cry, like the part about the mother and daughter.

Juno which tells the tale of a brave girl and how she dared to be different, to continue pursuing what she loved. not too bad a show, the most memorable bit tt stuck by me is what juno n her dad talked abt towards the end..

rule #1 someone remind me why i went to watch the show/? i guess i like horror shows la, but i like to wtch them from in between myfingers.haha. but this is definitely a good horror show imo, it isnt those dumb scary kind. this show acty carries a pretty good storyline, apart from the ending which was kind of erm.... spoiler? i would recommend the daredevils to give this show a shot.

horton was totally a great show. good seats, comfy chair, totally relaxing and enjoyable. and it was a really touching plot about loyalty when horton insisted on keeping his word. and this is yet another show tt has those chim takeaway beneath all the laughter. quite a good movie to catch if u wan a light hearted n enjoyable show.

ok bring on shutter, august rush, step up 2, water horse, vantage point, vigin teritory, definitely maybe, hottie nottie, made of honour............
bring it on!

pick me up

if you realise my list of post a level activities just got LONGER!!! the newer items are on top. heh so many things i wanna do, i think for a week i will camp at home n just cook n bake. feels fun!!! acty i think the thought of doing many things like NOW when i shouldnt be doing them is the fun thing.

watch no reservations yesterday. its reallly a nice movie, okay the first 80% of the movie. the story line was sweet n touching n there were parts abt life, especially the part where the little girl just comes into kates life that was really sad and yet human. but there were really hilarious parts, esp the one when she thought he was gg to kiss her but instead he was reaching out for the scarf behind her. seriously so funny! but the ending was really too adrupt imo, but well its the nice sweet ending. its like having temporal comedy and romance in my own life, a nice chick flick :)

and there was this part where the guy made this whole box of tiramisu for the girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it made me really wanna eat tiramisu, like a whole boxof good tiramisu. so i went searching for tiramisu recipes.

Italian Tiramisu
30 Italian ladyfingers, divided

2 1/2 C. strong warm espresso
2 ounces chopped chocolate, divided
Unsweetened cocoa, for dusting
6 egg yolks
3/4 C. sugar
1 1/4 lbs. mascarpone cheese
2 C. heavy cream
1/3 C. sugar
1 1/2 T. dark rum

Dip the first 18 ladyfingers in the espresso, and line the bottom of the 12 x 9 pan with them. Sprinkle half of the chopped chocolate, and add a generous dusting of the cocoa to the ladyfingers; set aside. Combine the yolks and 3/4 cup of sugar and mix on high with a mixer about 10 minutes. By hand, mix in the mascarpone until incorporated and relatively lump-free; set aside. With a mixer or by hand, whip the cream, 1/3 cup sugar and rum until stiff peaks are formed. Add the mascarpone mixture and whip again until homogeneous. Spread half of the egg/cheese filling on the ladyfingers in the pan. Soak the remaining ladyfingers in espresso and make a second layer (with spaces in between the ladyfingers). Sprinkle with remaining filling evenly over the ladyfingers, and lightly sprinkle with more cocoa. Wrap, refrigerate and chill 4 to 6 hours. Before serving, sprinkle again with a light dusting of cocoa. Slice and serve with a spoon or spatula.

ok reality check physicstuition at 9am tmr morning.

discipline

i think....
discipline is choosing to do the right thing even when you could have done otherwise without being found out. its doing the logical thing tt your head tells you to do while the heart maybe screaming for you to do otherwise.

i really wanna watch no reservations n the invasion movie n the rat one n many many many more movies. acty i wanna watch no reservations most.
can i watch it in my sleep? :)

South west young leaders day - finally over. it was a super tiring day. and super stressful day. so u can guess how relieve i am that it is finally over. i had great helpers. my assistant probably wanted to kill me la, haha. tiefu had to run front n back stage but at least he was wearing sport shoes, magine if it was some girl. she will probably nt talk to me ever again aft e event. lol. and my mike runner helpers xinhui serene pearl and regina were awesome ppl too. so well, its over. :)

harmoc concert tt night was an experience. my first time, hopefully not my last. the music was beautiful. i liked some pieces alot, while some werent so impressive. but i seriously felt so so SHITTY in betwween all the pieces when ppl screamt their frens names like they see some aunite in the amrketplace like tt. totally unglam. i wished people knew that such a thing called concert etiquette exists n tt there are appropriate times n manners to show ur appreciation of the items. Argh. such a shame.

daddy flew to frankfurt tt night. so i rushed like mad to the airport to send him off. and i miss him like mad la. cos i came home to a totally lousy dinner cooked by mommy cos my maid was off. like Fried rice. and soup for sunday dinner. i was like "shit. i forgot to ask lionel who was cooking when i said i was coming home for dinner." oh man i miss dadddy i cant wiat for him to be back. life sucks wihtout e man of the hosue!!! no chaffeuring n no nice dinners. sucks.

Spiderman 3
i enjoyed the show abit. during those funny parts, like the sand man having half his head blown off. lol. n during the parts when harry forgave. n the times when the sandman explained stuff to spiderman, the way he was really sincere in his apology. there were alot of great quotes from the show. those few meaningful parts. n the action was quite good i must say.

We've all done terrible things to each other, but we have to forgive each
other. Or everything we ever were will mean nothing.

Uncle Ben wouldn't want us living with revenge in our hearts, it's like a
poison. It can take you over and turn us into something ugly.

other than that, it was a lousy storyline cos of alot of unexplainable stuff in the story. n the spiderman was so siao for some part tt i felt so sick n wanted to walk out.

randomrantings
i've been having this immerse craze to eat dimsum. preferably a dimsum buffet. so i can eat all the har gaos in the world. hopefully with mingyee next to me :)
and play LOTS of tennis badminton n squash. haha. whats new.
and go drinking. like alot alot alot of alcohol to get me highhhhhhhhhh. n happy. so issues will be temporary forgotten.

i realise tt its really important to be thankful for all the small things in life. like the smallest minute details tt too often or not, we take them for granted. cos its probably when they stop happening, den u'll suddenly realsie like, shit i miss it!
like today, im thankful for daddy sending me to the bus stop, so i thanked him b4 gg down the car. im thankful for my maids cooking. which was really good. so i thanked n kissed her, n shes a happy woman. n im thankful for having frens to go watch movie with, so i thanked them for their wonderful company. im thankful for my maids umbrella, even though its a bright purple colour, without which i would be drenched on my journey to school. im thankful for joanna who took so much effort organising a dinner with the girsl to celebrate my dinner, cos it has really beeen a long time since the 4 girls met up! i realsie these small things are what makes ppl's days, n it will make them happy, n since they are the ppl around u, their happiness will be in the air n will spread to u n make u happy to. so..
what goes around comes around. :)
